A café with excellent cakes and bread ?. The baguette in particular is remarkably good ..... taste and appearance almost like in France. Good, small breakfast selection. The quality actually deserves 5 points ... but the space is not so inviting and rather uncomfortable. Due to the size, however, pleasant at the moment, as enough distance can be kept. So in total: ???
Unfortunately, the Cafe Ernst is mutating more and more into a "youth club", we felt very uncomfortable on our last visit when suddenly a whole group of young people marched in (sometimes without mouthguards or not correctly put on) with baker's bags and drinks from the supermarket next door hands. They besieged a number of the most popular seats and only one of them went to the counter to buy something, the rest ate what they had brought with them. Were everyone's contact details written down? I don't think so ... Unfortunately, they don't behave particularly pleasantly either, loud cell phones and the like ... we left quickly.
One of the most popular bakeries in the community, if not the most popular. Nevertheless, it is a chain and therefore there are many products that are industrially manufactured. Nevertheless, I see the chain as a high quality chain with high quality products. You can have a good and inexpensive breakfast here, order special cakes and get a good range of baked goods and confectionery. A good coffee machine is also available. The versatile furnishings and the choice of seating are nice. There is an outside area and padded and normal seating inside. There are also high chairs for children.
Guests come, sit down, smoke and eat what they have brought with them.-Coca Cola has been taken out of the range, Pepsi is available instead.-Chewing gum sticks to the floor.-Bicycle racks are missing.
Great goods, clean and friendly staff.
We wanted to have a leisurely breakfast today, when we were sitting at a table came a "very friendly" employee with long pinned up hair and said very "friendly" that there was no place to hang out, you could have wished for a good morning or a good day. We got 1 sheet to fill out because of coronavirus, a short time later she came back and threw us more sheets on the table with the words "I can imagine that you from several households since, if what you write down is correct at all". Then we left the cafe. Was the first and last time !! ?
Always open, every Sunday and public holiday. Very good selection
Friendly atmosphere, good service and an interesting selection of different pastries!
Today I have to clear my frustration. At Cafe Ernst, the mask requirement among employees is apparently only taken seriously to a limited extent. A co-worker, with longer hair pinned up, seems to think that it would be enough to wear his mask around his chin. While her colleague is wearing her purple mask. You should just take an example. Which I find rather unsanitary at the present time! I have often noticed the lady negatively. I really dislike your cheeky manner! Today, for example, I saw how she asked a customer about € 2 change, but the gentleman had none and the lady replied snappily, well, so poor? What kind of way is that ?!
A very nice café but it takes a few minutes before you get the attention of the waitress with the short red hair. Have seen it often enough now and the same thing again tonight. I had the impression that I was annoying her, because of your nervous manner, "I had to get through quickly". I also had the impression that it was because she wanted to finish work on time and I disturbed you. Furthermore, I don't understand why you don't wear a face mask and especially gloves at the present time. In almost every bakery, the sellers have gloves on, even if it is just before the store closes. It's a shame to have such a nice café that offers such great and delicious baked goods when one employee lowers the whole level.
So far I have always been very satisfied with Cafe Ernst. Until last Wednesday, as usual, I was not allowed to return the deposit bottle I bought there. Here is a brief summary of the facts. I bought a medium coffee and still water for my wife. Kindly, I was offered a glass for a drink as usual. I did not take the receipt with me because this is just too much useless waste. Unfortunately, I was not told that I would need the voucher to return the bottle or to receive the deposit I paid there. We hadn't even left the cafe, we were sitting in the front area of the bar all the time. However, I was refused to return the bottle, otherwise the till would be wrong. After a short discussion, I took my bottle back with me So far I have never had any problems getting my deposit back until Wednesday. It may be that I changed something in the process at Cafe Ernst, but you should then point out nicely that the receipt is needed. It's a shame that the service has deteriorated somewhat here.
It could be cleaner, otherwise the place is fine
Delicious coffees and delicious dishes. Unfortunately, the whole thing is destroyed by the partly underground service. The handling of the "senior citizens" with the sometimes very young temporary workers is also not presentable to customers. The opening hours on New Year's Eve have put the crown on the whole. In the window of the branch itself there was a sign saying "until 2 p.m." and this time was also explicitly stored on the Internet. However, at 1:00 p.m. one stood in front of the above-mentioned sign and closed doors and could watch the employees packing up the goods. Too bad Café Ernst!
The latte Macciato from the machine was cold. Even after we got a new one, she arrived cold again. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is set too cold, with demand we got an annoyed answer.
Great baker. My dwarfs are always given a "child's bun" and these are the only ones he eats. Super nice the seller and tasted just great
Happened ten minutes ago ... on the way to the stove a raw dough falls on the floor to a hired one ... she picks him up again and just puts it in the oven with the others. When I approached a colleague to me only said: "I have not seen" and she continued to serve. POOH! Here we will never buy something again!
You should not talk about breakfast, you can eat something fast there. Quality of the rolls is good. Price performance rather bad. The service is more focused on handling. What has a very wide range is cakes and pies. Also very appealing are the counters.
I often get my rolls on Sunday mornings because they are just better than those of other bakers. I have not found any rude service. The selection is large, varied and I always like to come here. And even a service may have a sullen moment, we are here in a bakery, not on the theater stage. Even if a customer is king, he should not behave like that.
When visiting the baker "Ernst" some employees take the name too much to heart. Friendliness and service are with me at a service provider in the first place. Service - Top. Friendliness - less top. Prices: for me, the prices are also very high, but I also know that I then get a well-sandwiched. This is no longer the case compared to other bakers.
Delightful bakery at Groß Zimmern. Several different types of bread and cakes. Staff is very friendly.
One of the nicest bakers in the area. Large selection Nice atmosphere, only the prices are a little excessive
The coffee was good and the coffee was hot what more can you ask.
